I’ve found that the whey protein isolate, hydrolyzed or not, offers the best value and efficiency in delivering the bulk of protein. Whey concentrate contains phospholipids and conjugated linoleic acid, which plays a role in new muscle cell growth, improved immune function and reduced fat deposits in the body.
You can easily digest the hydrolyzed whey so your body can quickly absorb amino acids immediately after a workout.

If you dislike artificial sweeteners, you want to stay away from this one. Sucralose (Splenda) kills some of the beneficial bacteria living in your gut that keep your system clean and functioning properly.

I think they produce some of the finest tasting powders out there. Ghost also stands out from the crowd in that they have have licensing deals with so many other companies for the actual flavors.
Overall Ghost protein powder mixed and dissolved well. It did not clump up. The lecithin is what helps ensure a lack of clumping. Most companies use soy, so Ghost is one of the rare brands that are soy-free.
It was creamy and enjoyable even in water. It mixed well in a blender bottle without the metal ball. I would avoid using the metal ball with the chips ahoy because the cookie bits get stuck easily.
Although Ghost is one of my favorites, it can be expensive. If you want to save money, I usually go with Dymatize Iso 100. It has a strong ingredient profile of 5.5 g of BCAAs, unlike Ghost. Otherwise, both have similar ingredients.
Dymatize Iso 100 also comes in several flavors like cocoa pebbles, fruity pebbles and eight others. My favorite is the cocoa pebbles. When you mix it with milk, it tastes just like the leftover milk in your bowl after eating the cereal.
Try Dymatize Iso 100 for a cheaper, versatile alternative to Ghost.
For my Ghost protein review, it’s one of the best-tasting protein powders I’ve tried. You can also find them in convenient to-go bottles here. Other than that, there is nothing special besides the taste. One big downside is the price. So if the taste is not crucial to you, this powder might not be a worthwhile purchase. There are more affordable powders out there with similar ingredients.
